I’m a huge fan of LED lights. Whether they’re for the vehicle, home, deck, bicycle or emergency kit. I love LEDs! So when I saw the opportunity to review these Aityvert Solar Lights, I didn’t hesitate. A little background info, we currently have some Mr. Beams lights that don’t light at all until there’s motion (they’re great, BTW). But these are different in that there’s a low level light always shining once it’s dark enough. Once they detect motion, WOW are they bright. We have two of these on our deck and they light it up well when approaching the deck. After 30 seconds, they return to the lower setting. Check out my video review to see just how bright these are.

A couple of years ago we started swapping out all of our incandescent light bulbs for compact florescent (a few) and LED bulbs in an effort to save money on our electric bill (and it worked). One I’ve not been able to find a replacement for is the light above the stove. We used it every night as a night light in case one of us need to wander into the kitchen at 3:00 a.m.. Once I realized this was our only incandescent bulb left, we stopped using it and had to use several night lights to replace the light output.
Replacing the old bulbs was easy and I’m pleased with the amount of light these bulbs produce. Unfortunately, the pictures will not be a true apples-to-apples comparison. When I was reviewing the photos I noticed one of the old bulbs was burned out. However, you will notice the light is more white and less yellow. I like this and am pleased with the result. I will update this review, as need, to update you on the life of these lights.
